Innovation is a crucial factor in accomplishing a
well-formulated job. Innovation comes from opening our minds to so many new
possibilities and probabilities and accounting it to relate it to our work.
Who innovates at work? Innovators are those that bring credibility to the
quality of work and they are the ones who look at how to bring about that
result.
Innovation requires a vision and it doesn’t respond well to
dullness; keeps your mind fresh and active. Innovators must be imaginative and
have out of the box mentality. They shouldn’t limit their creativity to the
confinement of the work area. There’s no such thing as a tag with the name
innovator written on anyone. They could be anyone with the ability to see a
situation and create a considerably resourceful outcome.
How to find out the innovators in your workforce? You have
to monitor the employees’ work and find out their capabilities or their way of
dealing with situations. Innovation isn’t just coming up with the best
solution; it isn’t something to be competing over. It is about contributing
ideas to build something stronger and that is why companies should encourage
innovations from the employees. They’re not there to hunch over technologies
and do the same monotonous work to function the building. They should be
allowed to say what they feel would be good or bad for the company because
innovation isn’t only coming up with best plans but also pointing out the flaws
in the system which must be taken as a point which needs to be fixed or
improved.
Does innovation start with being able to accept critiques
and then finding solutions to fix it because if you don’t know what’s wrong in
the first place how will you know what to develop?
